Gramercy Construction
Gramercy Senior Housing is a kdA-designed affordable housing complex currently under construction on a block-length lot formerly owned by the City of LA and used as a towing yard. One of the first developments to utilize city-sponsored Supportive Housing (Prop HHH) funds, this project will provide much-needed housing options to low-income and homeless seniors in one of America’s most expensive housing markets.
The project received approval from the Los Angels City Council Housing Committee and broke ground in spring 2019. The 70,000SF mixed-use, high-density project includes 64 new apartments for low-income seniors, a commercial café, community spaces and a public plaza. Construction is on track and expected to be complete in 2021.
