Selected in 2014 by the City of LA to develop and design a new recreation center for the South Robertson neighborhood of Los Angeles, kdA officially completed construction on the new “Rob Rec” in spring 2020. Due to the coronavirus the opening festivities were relatively muted but still highlighted by former Laker Nick Young taking the official first shot.

Built on the site of the original Rob Rec (which counts Nick among it’s NBA alumni), the project transforms the beloved but undersized recreation center into a new state-of-the-art gym and community anchor.
